District 211 recognized for financial transparency

Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211 has again earned recognition for its efforts in financial reporting.

The Association of School Business Officials International gave District 211 a Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting for the district’s reporting for fiscal year 2010. The certificate honors transparency in reporting to the community.

It’s the fourth-consecutive year the district earned the award, which could translate into better bond ratings.
