Addison's outdoor pool opens Saturday, June 4
With recent record temperatures in the 90s, the Addison Park District is getting ready for summer and will officially open the outdoor pool in Community Park at noon on Saturday, June 4.
The public is invited to dive into fun all summer long and enjoy the Addison resident reduced rates for season pool passes.
For only $90, a family of four can enjoy unlimited access during open swim hours.
Open swim hours are available every day of the week, according to the following schedule: 1 to 3 p.m. Monday and Wednesday; 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; 5 to 7 p.m. Friday; and noon to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
As a visual cue, the Addison Park District will use a colored flags system to show at a glance when open swim is available.
A colored flag will be displayed below the American flag in front of Community Rec Center, 120 E. Oak St.
A green flag indicates open swim is available, a yellow flag shows that the pool may close early in case of hazardous weather and a red flag means that open swim is temporarily unavailable.
