Addison Parks offers active adult excursions in May
Active adults aged 50 or better are invited to take an indoor excursion with the Addison Park District. May trips are scheduled to White Fence Farm in Romeoville and a matinee performance by The Duke Ellington Orchestra at The Paramount Theatre in Aurora.
Join us for dinner and a show as Denny Diamond and the Family Jewels serenade you with favorite Neil Diamond tunes at White Fence Farm on Wednesday, May 18th. This performance by the Neil Diamond tribute artist begins and ends with those distinct, raspy pipes, so just close your eyes and you'll swear you're hearing ‘Sweet Caroline' from the man himself. White Fence Farm's renowned fried chicken dinner is included with the cost of the concert and transportation. Sign up today for this trip departing at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18th and returning to Addison at 4:30 p.m. This trip is available for $45 to Addison residents or $59 for non-residents. To register, stop by the Addison Park District administrative office located at Community Rec. Center, 120 E. Oak St., call (630) 883-0100 or register online at www.addisonparkdistrict.org.
