Streamwood artist to sign on Free Comic Book Day

Art Baltazar, the man behind the “Tiny Titans” comic book, will be signing comics on Saturday at a Schaumburg book store, part of the Free Comic Book Day promotion.

Baltazar will appear from noon to 2 p.m. at Dreamland Comics, 1415 W. Schaumburg Road in Schaumburg. “Tiny Titans,” is a collaboration between Baltazar – who lives in Streamwood – and his friend Franco Aureliani. Last month it earned a prestigious Eisner Award nomination for best children’s book.
