Dante Martinez struck out 14 and allowed only 2 hits, as Mundelein’s baseball team continued its undefeated season by shutting out Antioch 9-0 Friday in a North Suburban crossover.Chris Maranto led the Mustangs offensively, going 2-for-3 with 2 home runs and 4 RBI. Ryan Borucki and Torr Randau also homered for Mundelein (17-0). Luis Carrasco was 2-for-3.Libertyville 3, Lakes 1: While the Eagles struck first to start the game, the Wildcats came back, tying the game in the fourth and adding two in the sixth.

Dar Townsend earned the win for Libertyville (11-5).

Lakes fell to 8-8.

Vernon Hills 5, Zion-Benton 2: The Cougars scored all their runs in the bottom of the sixth to improve their record to 15-4.Steve Nelson and Chris Marras doubled for Vernon Hills.Stevenson 29, North Chicago 0: The Patriots cruised in the North Suburban crossover to improve to 13-2.
