Vernon Hills d. Prospect: Thomas Robinson rolled up 10 kills to lead Vernon Hills to a 25-11, 25-22 win over Prospect. Nick Garpow added 3 kills and Justin Opitz had 15 assists for Vernon Hills, which moves to 9-1 on the season.
Carmel d. Warren: Carmel rallied from a 20-23 deficit to win the first game over Warren, 25-23. That momentum carried over to a 25-16 win in game two that gave the Corsairs the two-game sweep. Mike Fitzgibbons led Carmel with 9 kills while Will Collazo had 7 kills and a team-leading 5 blocks. Collin Long led the Corsairs (7-7) with 10 digs and setter Alex Dunlap had 22 assists.
