Successful return for Luke, Saxons

Schaumburg 13, Wheeling 9: Schaumburg’s Brandon Luke returned to the lineup and quickly made a difference for the Saxons.
Luke had been inactive since suffering a seizure just before the spring break tournament hosted by the Saxons, but was recently cleared by doctors to resume playing.
He scored 4 goals Friday and also had 4 steals and 2 assists as Schaumburg earned an MSL crossover victory over Wheeling.
Mike Gergen had 4 goals for the Saxons (12-5), and Matt McMullen and Justin Chen had 2 apiece.
Andy Eiter came up with 3 goals for Wheeling (10-3), and Wildcats goalie Shane McDade made 17 stops.
