Jay, Tran, Comitor, Bard win in Hawthorn District 73

Voters returned four incumbents to the Hawthorn District 73 school board.
Unofficial totals showed Lisa Jay with 783 votes, followed by Jayson Tran with 761, Michelle Comitor with 734 and Jeffrey Bard with 665, with all 29 precincts reporting.
Six candidates were running for four 4-year terms.
Challengers Matthew Napierkowski, a corporate manager, and Cristopher Nolan, a law student, trailed with 482 and 463 votes, respectively.
