Former Des Plaines mayor backs D214 incumbents

In my previous role as the mayor of Des Plaines, I came to understand and realize the value of a strong school board — a school board staffed with conscientious membership whose primary objective was to provide the students of our area with an avenue where the best education would be possible.

Several years ago, I was introduced to Mr. Bill Dussling and the members of his board and was not only impressed with their backgrounds but their contributions to the students of our district. Since then I have gone out of my way to support their actions. I cannot ... nor can I imagine, our school district losing the experience and support of the current board, who in my opinion has learned to work together with one objective in mind and that is to provide the best possible education programs in the state of Illinois.

With that said, I support the current school board slate.
