D15's Chapman dedicated to community
I have known Gerald Chapman for over 10 years and he is a very dedicated educator with outstanding credentials. His entire life has been oriented toward education and doing what he can to improve the education process.
In the event you are not aware, his career began in 1965 as a mathematics teacher at William Fremd High School and not a year has passed that he has not been involved in the education process. His career in High School District 211 consisted of 36 years ending in 2001 when he retired as the superintendent of schools from that district.
The next four years he was associate dean, College of Education at Roosevelt University, until he was elected as a member of Community Consolidated School District 15 Board.
After serving as a board member for a few months, the members of the board recognized his ability and elected him president of the board.
To show further evidence of the dedication of Jerry he also serves on the Palatine Emergency Management Agency, Citizens Corps Council, the Palatine Chamber of Commerce board of directors, and the Rural Fire Protection Board as a trustee.
You should be able to determine that the degree of dedication by Jerry is not toward himself but toward what he can give back to the citizens of our community.
In my opinion there is not one person running for election to the District 15 board who has the ability and dedication to the job than Gerald Chapman.
Please show your dedication by voting to re-elect Gerald Chapman to the Consolidated School District 15 Board.
