Your news: Mundelein High seniors vie for Mr. Mustang title

Twelve Mundelein High School seniors will vie for the title of Mr. Mustang during an evening of competition beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19, in the MHS auditorium. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.

Mundelein High School is at 1350 Hawley St., Mundelein.

The evening’s events will include a group video portraying the theme “A Night at the Oscars.”

Following that, the 12 contestants will appear in formalwear, take part in individual or group talent and offer a speech directed to their parents. A group of judges will vote for the Final Five who will then participate in a question/answer session. The judges will vote again and Mr. Mustang will be crowned.

The process began with the senior girls voting for their favorites among the senior boys. A group of about 20 was then narrowed to 12 following auditions before the Mustang Parent Club who sponsor the event.
