Fremd musicians holding fundraiser dinner and concert

The Fremd Music Association will host the 8th-Annual Band Benefit Dinner and Concert on Tuesday at Fremd High School, 1000 S. Quentin Road in Palatine.

The professionally-catered dinner is held in the school cafeteria from 5 to 6:50 p.m., and features dinner music provided by the Fremd Flute Choir and Jazz Combo.

Tickets for dinner are $15 for adults and $10 for children in sixth grade or below, and can be purchased at the door the evening of the event.

The dinner also will feature a raffle, with tickets being sold throughout dinner. All proceeds benefit the FHS Band program.

Following dinner, there will be a concert in Kolze Auditorium featuring all 260 members of the band program. Performing ensembles include the Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Symphonic Winds, and Wind Symphony.
