Mundelein High School board candidate withdraws

A candidate for the Mundelein High School District 120 board has withdrawn, officials announced Tuesday.

Diane Broege dropped out of the race for a 4-year term because of “time-management reasons,” Superintendent Jody Ware said in an e-mail.

The move leaves the race for three, 4-year terms uncontested. The remaining candidates are newcomer Joanne Anderson and incumbents Karen Havlik and Al Hitzke. Additionally, incumbent Robert Paliani is the only candidate for a 2-year term.
