Legislative issues brewing at Schaumburg coffee shop

To encourage constituents to get involved in the legislative process this year, Democratic state Rep. Fred Crespo will tour local coffee shops in the 44th District, with the first stop at 9 a.m. Jan. 14 at Starbucks, 181 N. Barrington Road in Schaumburg. He will be answer questions about new laws and accept proposals for new legislation. “Coffee shop stops allow me to go to where people naturally congregate to talk informally about legislation,” he said.
