Plenty of choices in Cary
Cary voters will have a crowded field from which to choose in the April municipal election.
A total of nine candidates are seeking election to four open seats on the Cary village board.
In the race for three, 4-year term, incumbents Barbara Hill, Al Pilli and Debra McNamee will be challenged by Frank Steckelberg, Karen Lukasik, Bruce Kaplan and Robert L. Bragg.
Incumbent Mark Kownick will face Jeff Kraus for the lone 2-year seat.
