Your news: Fremd Music Association presents 32nd annual Floral Design Showcase
Come in from the cold of winter and enjoy the 32nd annual Fremd Music Association Floral Design Showcase, “ Flower Garden Serenade,” from 7-9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, at Fremd High School's Kolze Auditorium.
The showcase features five talented, local floral designers, onstage, creating gorgeous fresh flower arrangements which are given away to lucky attendees.
The commentator for the evening is Joyce Grattoni, AIFD, floral educator and former chairman of the Harper College Horticulture department.
Participating designers from Kinsch Village Florist & Greenhouse, Inc.; Barrington Flower Shop; Busse's Flowers & Gifts; Mariano's Fresh Market; and Amlings at Sylvia's Flowers will delight and amaze guests with their design capabilities.
Tickets are $20 each; all proceeds benefit the Fremd music programs, including the Arts Fest and summer music camp scholarships.
The evening will include entertainment and special performances by talented Fremd music students and complimentary refreshments served during intermission.
Extend the festivities with a pre-or-post Floral Design Showcase meal at nearby Anthem Grill restaurant.
Dine at Anthem Grill, 704 W. Euclid, in Palatine, anytime from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, and Anthem Grill, will donate 15% of your food and beverage purchase to the Fremd Music Association.
