Two wanted in donation jar thefts

Police have issued arrest warrants for a man and woman suspected of stealing donation jars from two businesses.

Michael L. Feterick, 40, and Kathryn A. Williams, 28, are wanted in the crimes.

The first theft occurred on Oct. 30, when a donation container collecting money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation was stolen from Country Donuts in Crystal Lake, according to police.

Police said the two struck again about two weeks later on Nov. 15 when they stole a container from Cary's Restaurant in Cary, which was collecting money for Toys for Tots.

Police do not know the whereabouts of the suspects but provided surveillance photos and mug shots of them.
