Incumbents seek re-election to 214 Board

Northwest Suburban High School District 214 school board members Bill Dussling and Alva Kreutzer will run for re-election April 5, and will be joined by Dan Petro of Arlington Heights, who was on the board of Arlington Heights Elementary District 25 for 12 years.

Dussling, of Arlington Heights, and Kreutzer of Elk Grove Village, sought another running mate after Bob Zimmanck announced that after 23 years on the board he will not run again. Dussling is the current president of the board and has been on the board for 13 years. Kreutzer has served as vice president of the board and a member of the board for 12 years.

She also served four years on the board of Elk Grove Township Elementary District 59. Both Dussling and Kreutzer said they are running to maintain the district's educational excellence and fiscal control.
