Scouting Zion-Benton at Mundelein

Last week: Zion-Benton lost to Warren, 42-3; Mundelein lost to Lake Zurich, 35-7.

Skinny: The two teams' collective lack of success the last couple of years hasn't dampended the excitement when they've played each other. Zion-Benton pulled out a 21-19 win in Week 8 last season, while Mundelein rallied in thefourth quarter on its home field two years ago to beat the Zee-Bees 25-14 in a Week 7 contest. As was the case in 2008, tonight's game means one team will get its first win of the season. ... Both squads have struggled on both sides of the ball. Mundelein has scored only 70 points, while Zion-Benton has mustered just 79. Defensively, Mundelein has given up 282 points and Z-B has surrendered 299.
