Monkey Joe's opens new shop in Aurora

Monkey Joe's, an inflatables-filled indoor play and party center, is hosting a grand opening of its new Aurora location.

The growing chain will open the new play place in the Yorkshire Center at 4306 E. New York St., Friday, Oct. 15. Food, drinks and prizes are part of the opening event.

Franchise owners Jim and Melissa Oremus currently operate other area locations in Lake Zurich, Wheaton, Crystal Lake and one in Georgia. “Illinois has proved to be a great market for us and the parents appreciate that Monkey Joe's offers a place for families to spend active time together in a safe, social and fun environment, Jim said.

In addition to the play center, the businesses also feature a parent lounge with comfortable seating, flat screen TVs and free high-speed Internet access.

Monkey Joe's is popular for birthday parties as well as open play.
