Not Rauschenberger's seat to reclaim
I strongly object to the wording in Kerry Lester's article, in the Sept. 23 issue, about Steve Rauschenberger. Lester refers to Rauschenberger's bid to, "reclaim his old Senate seat."
That seat never has belonged to Steve Rauschenberger, and it is presumptuous to state that it does. That seat, along with all the others in Springfield, belong to the people of Illinois. Rauschenberger merely sat in it for 14 years before looking for another one.
