MWHS kicks off Homecoming

Maine West High School gears up for a week of Homecoming activities with a full slate of pre-Homecoming activities today, Saturday.

A Tailgate, sponsored by Student Council and Class Councils, will be held before the varsity soccer game, which begins at 2 p.m. today. Also scheduled are a class Tug-of-War and class competition for the Spirit Jug, with the prize going to whichever class has the most students in attendance.

The theme of this year's Homecoming Week is "In the Heart of the Jungle."
