Proud to be a teacher and role model
I am responding to your Saturday article pertaining to the second DUI charge against Mr. Millsaps who teaches at Rolling Meadows High School.
His quote, "I firmly believe I didn't do anything wrong," is the reason for my letter.
As a teacher and a coach, we are held in high esteem by every student and the colleagues that we teach with in our schools.
I truly consider myself a very fortunate person to have been a teacher and coach for 38 years. What a unique situation; being a role model for literally thousands of students.
I am truly disappointed in Mr. Millsaps. I think an apology is needed to your family, Rolling Meadows High School, your colleagues, and especially the athletes you have coached.
