Ivan Maldonado scored two goals and Tony Hernandez added a goal on a penalty kick as Larkin downed Dundee-Crown 3-1 Monday in nonconference boys soccer action.

Tony Mendoza and Erik Rodriguez each had assists for the Royals (2-1-1) and Santiago Guerrero made 5 saves in goal.

Juan Lopez had the Chargers' lone goal and Scott Nowicke made 8 saves in goal for D-C.

Ridgewood 4, Elgin 1: Aldair Vargas scored Elgin's only goal in this loss at St. Patrick's LaSallion Cup tournament. Tony Benitez had 9 saves in goal for the Maroons (0-4).

CL South 4, Grayslake North 0: The Gators scored two own goals as well as scores from Charlie Oliver and Mike Hernandez to win this nonconference match. Adam Gatza assisted each own goal while Sam Murdock also had an assist. Dave Walsh had 5 saves in goal for the Gators (2-1-1).
