Museum's 50th anniversary

Help celebrate at the First Division Museum at Cantigny's 50th Anniversary event. Highlights include a 50th birthday observance, a memorial service honoring dead and missing Vietnam vets, and an unveiling and dedication of a restored UH-1C "Huey" gunship helicopter. "Star Wars" enthusiasts of all ages are invited to the launch party for the new "Star Wars Year-by Year: A Visual Chronicle" book. Costumed "Star Wars" characters will sign books and pose for photos. Elegant autos

'Spectacle' exhibit

Circus and carnival imagery, in the form of mixed media collages, painted wooden shapes and simple framed pieces, are on display in the "Spectacle" exhibit by artist Adrienne Janci at the Barrington Area Library. The artist has had a lifelong fascination with the circus and the carnival. Images range from pale dancing legs to overgrown roller coasters.
