Elginbull; Someone ransacked an apartment in the 1200 block of Abbott Lane between 12:01 and 9 a.m. Sunday, stealing a set of keys for a maroon 1985 Chevy Impala and then the car itself, reports said.bull; A maroon 2008 Harley Davidson Sportster 2200 was stolen between 9 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday from the 200 block of Center Street, reports said. bull; John Paleothdosos, 44, of the 1100 block of Princeton Drive, Elgin, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass at 2:35 p.m. Sunday at the Grand Victoria Casino, 250 S. Grove Ave., reports said. He is on the banned list and due in court on Aug. 27, reports said.bull; Jacob S. Tovar, 25, of the 0-99 block of South Grove Avenue, Elgin, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 12:06 a.m. Monday at State and Chicago Streets, reports said. Tovar was pulled over for an illegal right turn and officers found a warm smoking pipe in his vehicle, police said. He is due in court on Sept. 3.bull; Paige N. Cook, 19, of the 1100 block of East Main Street, Huntley, was arrested and charged with unlawful use of identification at 2:11 a.m. Monday at the Grand Victoria Casino, 250 S. Grove Ave., reports said. She is accused of using her cousin's ID card and is due in court on Aug. 27, according to police.bull; Two men robbed a person at gunpoint about 7:29 p.m. Friday at Cornerstone Park, Lilac and Mulberry lanes, pushing the victim to the ground and stealing a wallet containing a LINK card and credit cards, reports said. The victim was not injured.bull; Mark E. Vaughn, 30, of the 200 block of Center Street, Elgin, was arrested and charged with criminal damage to property and resisting arrest after an incident at 4:07 p.m. Saturday in which he is accused of throwing a drink in a cashier's face at a gas station in the 200 block of Dundee Avenue and knocking items off the shelves and onto the floor. He is due in court on Sept. 3, reports said.bull; Roberto Chavez, 26, of the 200 block of Center Street, Elgin, was arrested and charged with obstruction and resting arrest at 3:26 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Center, reports said. Police tried to pull over Chavez but he kept driving and didn't listen to officer commands after pulling over, according to reports. He is due in court on Sept. 3.bull; Jeffrey M. Garcia, 52, of the 600 block of East Chicago Street, Elgin, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass at 1:43 a.m. Sunday at the Rivers Landing apartment complex, 5 Times Square, reports said. Garcia is banned from the property, police said.bull; Two men robbed a man of his wallet and $2.50 at about 9:04 p.m. Friday at Dundee Avenue and Franklin Boulevard, reports said. The victim was poked in the eye but not seriously injured, reports said.bull; Jose R. Perales, 19, of the 2000 block of Renee Lane, Edinburg, Texas, was arrested at 1:51 a.m. Saturday and charged with altering a driver's license after he tried to get into the Grand Victoria Casino, 250 S. Grove Ave., reports said. He admitted he got a fake license for $50 and is due in court on Aug. 27, police said.McHenry Countybull; Lucas Declercq, 32, of the 1000 block of Castleshire Drive, Woodstock, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after he crashed his motorcycle at 5:56 a.m. Sunday in the 9000 block of Route 14 in Woodstock, authorities said. Declercq rear ended a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta and was airlifted to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, where he was in fair condition, authorities said. He was not wearing a helmet.Kane Countybull; Joshua L. Grote, 30, of the 0-99 block of North 15th Street, St. Charles, was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of criminal damage to property and one count each of theft and burglary, according to the Kane Sheriff's office. Police said Grote stole several power tools and motorized dirt bikes from Bob Jo Cycle, 50W112 Old State Road, near Maple Park. He also is accused of thefts in Sycamore and Elgin, police said.
