Damaged were 29 tires on 11 fleet vehicles at NW Corp., 2401 Hassell Road, two tires on a Ford van belonging to Small World Children's Center, 2316 Hassell Road, one tire on a GMC Sierra at Pride Windows and Siding, 2330 Hassell Road, two tires on a 2004 Mitsubishi SUV on the 1800 block of Williamsburg Drive, two on a 2003 Audi SUV and two tires on a 2004 Toyota, both on the 2200 block of Briar Court. Damage was estimated at $4,100.bull; Burglars broke into a 2006 Jeep Commander on the 1900 block of Whitingham Lane between 6 p.m. June 21 and 10 a.m. June 22 and stole the in-dash radio/CD player/GPS. Jankowicz, 24, of the 5900 block of West School Street, Chicago, was arrested around 5:50 p.m. June 22 at Home Depot, 350 E. Kensington Road, and charged with retail theft. Reports said he put a $49.97 tag on a tool set priced at $149 and paid the lower price. Loss was estimated at $99. His court date is Aug. 4.bull; Burglars stole a laptop computer and carrying case out of a 2005 Mercury Monterey between 9 p.m. June 21 and 7 a.m. June 22. Value was estimated at $1,050.
