Attend HCE presentation on personal banking

The Illinois Association for Home and Community Education will offer the first presentation in the 2010-2011 HCE series from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, at the University of Illinois Extension Auditorium, 1102 McConnell Road, Woodstock. Peter Svenningsen, a Chase personal banker, will present "Banking Basics, and Retirement Workshop."

"Banking Basics" will review current trends in personal banking, with an emphasis on security and timesaving tools.

The retirement workshop will provide information relating primarily to individuals close to or currently in retirement, with an emphasis on distributions and asset allocation.

A group question and answer session will follow each presentation. Individual questions and concerns will also be addressed upon completion of the seminar, time permitting.
