Volunteers needed for The Salvation Army Haiti relief

The Salvation Army of McHenry County needs 5,000 volunteers to give a minimum or 2 hours each on Saturday, June 5 or Sunday, June 6 to assemble "One Million Meals For Haiti" at the site of the former Garden Fresh Market, 5625 Northwest Hwy. in Crystal Lake.

The Salvation Army has been serving in Haiti for nearly 70 years and recently United Nations personnel named The Salvation Army lead agency for the care and feeding of over 20,000 families in and around Port-au-Prince.
