Llorente, 21, of the 500 block of Glenwood Avenue, Elgin, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving while license revoked and failure to signal at 2:35 a.m. Friday after a traffic stop at Villa and Healy streets, reports said.bull; Two men in cars began exchanging insults at about 5 p.m. Thursday at McLean Boulevard and Highland Avenue and one man pointed a Glock handgun at the other, reports said. No immediate arrests were made and no one was injured, reports said.bull; James G. Carlson was asking patrons for money and was escorted from the store by security, but returned 30 minutes later, reports said. He has been on the store's banned list since March 2007, reports said.bull; Tyler C. Gustafson, 26, of the 600 block of Ludlow Drive, Elgin, was arrested and charged with marijuana possession at 11:15 p.m. Sunday after police were called to the 600 block of Ludlow Drive for two people smoking pot in a parked car, reports said. Gustafson is due in court on June 11, reports said.bull; Two gold chains and a gold ring, valued together at $670, were reported stolen at 7:33 p.m. Sunday from an apartment on the 100 block of South Porter Street.St. Charlesbull; Cheyne R. Heaton, 19, of the 2600 block of Blackman Road in Geneva, was arrested April 19 on a charge of retail theft, according to a police report. Store security at Meijer, 855 S. Randall Road, observed Heaton conceal a bottle of vodka in his jacket pocket and attempt to leave the store without paying for it, reports said. Heaton did not give police a statement or answer any questions, police said.bull; A construction trailer was burglarized between April 16 and April 19. A padlock was broken to gain entry to the trailer. A "Ridgid" brand black and red tool bag containing a set of tools valued at $600 was stolen, police said. bull; A "Genie Lift" was reported stolen from the alley behind the Arcada Theater between April 6 and 20. The lift is used to lift speakers and is valued at about $3,500. bull; Sean Preston Lewis, 35, of the 200 block of Hill Avenue in West Chicago, was arrested Friday on allegations of purse snatching, according to a police report. Police responding to the Foxfield Commons Shopping Center for a report of a theft found people holding down Lewis in the middle of the parking lot. Lewis told police he took the purse of an 85-year-old woman because he is out of work. Witnesses said the woman set her purse down atop a shopping cart, Lewis grabbed it, said he was sorry, then ran southbound. The woman yelled for help and a man caught Lewis and tackled him to the ground.Bataviabull; A Lisle woman turned herself in to police at 5:42 p.m. Friday on a warrant issued by DuPage County Circuit Court. Laura K. Fitzpatrick, 45, of the 400 block of Walnut Creek, Lisle, faces a charge of criminal trespass to land, according to a police report. She paid $100 bond and was released. The charge was filed by Wheaton police April 13, according to dupagecase.com.bull; Omar S. Martinez, 52, of the 600 block of Thorsen Lane, was issued a ticket at 7:17 p.m. Sunday for having a dog running at large, police said.bull; A man reported being punched in the face by an unknown man at 12:37 a.m. Saturday at the RendezVu restaurant and bar, 1 E. Wilson St. He was taken to Delnor Hospital in Geneva, according to police.bull; Joshua J. Rome, 30, of the 2200 block of Scott Lane, Aurora, was arrested at 10:39 a.m. Saturday at Fox's On the River restaurant, 31 N. River St., on a Kane County warrant for failure to appear in court, according to a police report. Rome had been on supervision for a March 2009 misdemeanor possession of cannabis charge, but that supervision was revoked in July, according to court records.Kane Countybull; A sliding window of unspecified value was reported broken Thursday in an apparent burglary attempt on the 0N400 block of Old Kirk Road, near West Chicago, police said. bull; More than $300 in electric tools, including saws, grinders and cutters, were reported stolen April 14 from a vehicle on the 38W200 block of Joan Drive, near St. Charles, police said. bull; Multiple hand and power tools were reported stolen April 21 from a garage on the 4N100 block of Babson Lane, near St. Charles, according to a police report.
