Mundelein 10, Crystal Lake Central 0: Dante Martinez pitched all five innings in Mundelein's 10-run, slaughter rule victory. He had 3 strikeouts and allowed just 1 walk. Offensively, the Mustangs (13-2) got 3 hits from Tyler Adams and 2 hits (a double and a triple) from Bill McMahon.

Carmel 12, Lakes 5: Down 2-0 after three innings, Carmel scored all 12 runs over the next three innings to notch the nonconference victory. Paul Poirier smacked 2 doubles while pitcher Cale St. Clair got the victory.

Warren 10, Richmond-Burton 0: Sophomore Pat Kenney helped Warren make quick work of Richmond-Burton by rolling up 3 hits, including 2 homers in the five-inning slaughter rule victory. Kenney drove in 4 runs on the day. Tim Bodine, Ryan Kennedy and Scott Heelan each finished with 2 hits on the day. Both of Heelan's hits were doubles.

Johnsburg 4, Antioch 1: Paul DeJong drove in the only run for the Sequoits, who were hurt by 3 errors. Antioch is now 4-9 on the season.
