Barrington charges past Lake Forest

Barrington 4, Lake Forest 1: Molly Pfeiffer had 2 goals and an assist as Barrington (7-1) advanced to the quarterfinals of the Pepsi Showdown with the victory. Sarah Condon scored off an assist from her sister Caroline and Liz Sauer also had a goal.

Kelly Pedersen got the victory in goal for the Fillies, who will play Crystal Lake South in Thursday's quarterfinals.

New Trier 2, Hersey 1 (PK): Eileen Zydek scored the only goal for Hersey, which was outscored 5-4 in penalty kicks, in the Pepsi Showdown.

Elk Grove 2, Lincoln-Way North 2: Kelli Hubly had a goal and an assist and Michelle Calmeyn had a goal for Elk Grove.
