Emery, Mundelein roll

Hats off to Stephanie Emery.

Her hat trick led Mundelein's girls soccer team to an 8-0 win over Round Lake on Tuesday night.

In addition to her 3 goals, Emery also had an assist. Ashley Begrowicz added a pair of goals for Mundelein (2-0), which led 5-0 at the half.

Kelsey Hiegel, Brooke Dennis and Molly Rohan also scored. Dennis and Melanie Swager shared the shutout in goal.

Stevenson 2, Evanston 0: The Patriots received second-half goals from Emily Niedermayer and Missy Loretto. Lizzie Vlahos and Austin Gregorcy had assists.

Keeper Lizzy Sanscrainte made 3 saves in notching the shutout, as Stevenson evened its record at 1-1.
