Picoult to appear at Conant

Best-selling author Jodi Picoult, who wrote "Picture Perfect," "My Sister's Keeper" and "Songs of the Humpback Whale," among others, will speak to students at Conant High School in Hoffman Estates on March 9.

Conant Dean Mike Plaza is credited with setting the event up. Picoult also served as the writer for a run of DC Comics' "Wonder Woman." The event is not open to the public.
