Martin Luther King Drive. In 2007, 500 new members were placed on the Be the Match Registry after the community hosted a bone marrow drive. At that time, the event focused on two young patients who are alive today because of live-saving bone marrow transplants and the efforts of the residents in this community. The test for bone marrow compatibility involves collecting a small sample from your mouth with a cotton swab. The test normally is $90 but is being offered free of charge by the city.
