Stevenson's depth too much for Mundelein

Mundelein's boys swimming team won all three relays, but Stevenson's depth prevailed, as the Patriots captured the two teams' North Suburban Conference finale Thursday.

Six individual wins powered Stevenson to a 113-72 win, allowing the Patriots to finish 6-0 in the NSC.

The Patriots' winners were Josh Hodges in the 200-yard freestyle (1:50.03), Langston Fitts in the 200 individual medley (2:08.89), Mike Chaffer in diving (174.10), Adam Salzman in the 100 butterfly (58.13), Steve McKee in the 500 freestyle (5:06.54) and Adam Slodowy in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.12).

Mundelein (4-2) won the 200 medley relay in 1:46.76 with Jeff Anderson, Pat Falconer, Connor Black and Will Davidson. The winning 200 freestyle relay (1:32.10) featured Falconer, Bryan Wiener, Black and Davidson. Black, Davidson, David Dickinson and Falconer took the 400 free relay in 3:21.38.

The Mustangs also received victories from Wiener in the 50 free (23.56), Falconer in the 100 free (48.80) and Black in the 100 backstroke (57.25).
