Candidate sought for High School District 120 board

The Mundelein Consolidated High School District 120 Board of Education is seeking applications to fill the board of education position vacated by Chris Doerr, effective as of Jan. 13, 2010.

The candidate must be at least 18 years of age, a resident of the state and the district for at least one year preceding appointment, a registered voter, not a school trustee or school treasurer and shall not be a child sex offender.

Anyone interested in becoming a member of the board of education should send a letter outlining why you would like to serve on the board to smalham@d120.org or mail it to: Dr. Jody Ware, Superintendent, Mundelein High School, 1350 W. Hawley St., Mundelein, IL 60060

Letters must be received by Thursday, Jan. 21. Interviews will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 26.
