Streamwood falls to Waubonsie Valley

Streamwood's girls basketball team hung with Waubonsie Valley through 2 quarters Monday night, only trailing 38-32 at halftime before the Warriors pulled away with the game and the 66-47 victory in an Upstate Eight Conference matchup.

Junior Emma Schmidt led all-scorers and paced the Sabres (6-9, 1-3) with 22 points while Michelle Tomczak also turned in a double-digit performance with 17 points on the night.
