Libertyville, Trees shade Mundelein

Savannah Trees scored a game-high 15 points, as Libertyville's girls basketball team defeated visiting Mundelein 57-33 Thursday night.

Alex Haley added 12 points for the Wildcats, who improved to 8-4 overall and 3-2 in the North Suburban Lake Division.

Mundelein (6-6, 2-3) got 11 points from Jessi Bjerning. The loss was the Mustangs' fourth in their last five games.

Zion-Benton 50, Lake Forest 46: The Zee-Bees pulled out their sixth straight win to improve to 5-0 at home and remain undefeated in the North Suburban Lake Division.

Juanita Robinson scored a season-high 25 points and also had 6 steals and 4 assists for Zion-Benton (9-2, 4-0). Dominique Williams added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Shay Johnson contributed 5 rebounds and 3 steals.

Lake Forest (8-3, 2-2) received 19 points from Claire DiMario and 12 from Jordan Majka.
