Kane County

• An iPod Touch left on a table in a classroom at Kaneland High School, 47W326 Keslinger Road, Maple Park, was stolen after 3:30 p.m. Nov. 20. The theft was reported Dec. 1, according to police.

• An iPod Nano left outside of a locker while the student attended gym class was stolen around 9:10 a.m. Nov. 18 at Kaneland High School, 47W326 Keslinger Road, Maple Park. The theft was reported Dec. 1, police said.

• Ana L. Quintanar, 44, of the 100 block of Gladstone, Glendale Heights, was charged with driving without a valid license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at 6:36 a.m. Nov. 22, according to a police report. The accident occurred on Route 72, one-half mile west of Route 47 in Pingree Grove. Quintanar was taken to Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin for treatment.

Geneva

• A Maple Park woman was charged with felony retail theft Dec. 2, according to a police report. Crystal L. Sabian, 17, of the 5N600 block of Cochise Drive, stole a Nikon Coolpix S360 digital camera at 3:14 p.m. from Best Buy, 1876 S. Randall Road.

• Three lighted Christmas decorations were stolen between 11 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday at a house in the 2800 block of Old Mill Court, police said.

• Someone stole $250 from an employee's purse while it was stored beneath a sink in a break room at Old Navy, 1572 S. Randall Road, between noon and 1 p.m. Sunday, police said.

• A Blackberry Storm telephone in a white plastic case was stolen around 8 p.m. Sunday from a table in the basement of Old Towne Pub, 201 W. State St. Police said the owner had stepped outside for a moment and when he returned he discovered someone had eaten the food he ordered, and his phone was gone.

Batavia

• A digital camera was stolen out of a vehicle in the 700 block of Hamlet Street, it was reported at 9:52 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

• A 46-inch LCD television set was reported stolen at 8:16 a.m. Monday in the 500 block of North Avenue, police said.

• Gloves, a scarf, a dog blanket and $15 were stolen out of an unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of Union Avenue, it was reported at 5:29 p.m. Monday, according to a police report.
