Music fest benefits Make-A-Wish

The first Pickwick Music Festival will feature four area bands performing in Park Ridge at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Tickets for the all-ages show - featuring the bands The Safes, The Break, Main Street Minority and Awake in Reno - are $5 for students and $10 for adults.

Tickets are available at Allegro Music Center, 800 E. Devon Ave. in Park Ridge, (847) 692-6021 and at Emerson and Lincoln middle schools and are being sold by Maine South High School Hawkettes. Remaining tickets will be available the day of the show at the Pickwick, 5 S. Prospect Ave.

Raffle tickets for $1 are also available for a chance to win prizes such as a guitar and merchandise from local sponsors. Winners must be present.
