Outlook Coach Dan Travers has only one returning starter _ three-year varsity performer Ashley Lindeman, who will be starting for the second straight season. Davis and McMahon saw some playing time as juniors last year. "We are looking forward to them making a positive contribution to the team," Travers said. Juniors who can make a contribution are Fillingim, Kauffold, Lomas, Rawleigh, Heneghan, Coleman and Andress. "We also have two sophomores (Bauch and Kutramnes) who will contribute as time goes on," Travers said. The Cougars have depth. "Our bench should be a strength for us," Travers added. "We're looking to pick up the pace some and get up and down the floor. It will start with us playing good defense and forcing the other team into bad shots or turnovers. A big key for us will be the ability to guard the ball and then rebound it so we can run the floor." Travers feels his Cougars will have their work cut out for them. "With most teams in the conference having three of four starters back, we'll have to work hard to compete against them," Travers said. "We have a lot of good quality players and were looking forward to competing in our conference and the postseason.
