District 211's Klimkowicz earns 'master board member' distinction

District 211 board of education member Anna Klimkowicz has been recognized by the Illinois Association of School Boards for receiving top honors as a Master Board Member. To encourage Board of Education members to develop and improve the skills necessary to be active and productive leaders, the Illinois Association of School Boards began its Leadership and Development Awards Program in 1987. By attending I.A.S.B. functions, including educational seminars and meetings, and through voluntary participation on panels and committees, school board members earn credits toward rankings in a four-tiered system.
