District 211 serves up a night of jazz

Jazz ensembles, showcasing the talents of students from all five District 211 high schools, will perform "An Evening of Jazz" on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. in the gymnasium at Fremd High School (1000 S. Quentin Road in Palatine). Presented by the Township High School District 211 Foundation, the event also will include student art work from the five high schools. Proceeds will benefit High School District 211 students through Foundation programs. The $6 adult and $2 student tickets can be purchased at all District 211 schools or through order forms available at http://www.d211.org/foundation. Seating for this "Foundation of the Arts" program is limited and advance ticket sales are recommended.
