Maine West flooded with royalty at homecoming Friday
The 50th anniversary edition of Maine West High School's homecoming pep assembly had a big surprise Friday.
Not one, but two queens were announced to the student body - the first time ever the vote ended in a tie.
The Des Plaines high school opened in 1959, and so at the homecoming game Friday night a group of alumni band members had been invited to take part in the halftime show.
