NW suburban fundraisers

Schaumburg Township food pantry: Help restock the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry by donating nonperishable items at Schaumburg Park District facilities. Suggested donations include canned fruit, vegetables, soup, dried beans, peanut butter, rice and boxed pasta. Collection bins will be available until Friday, Sept. 25, at Bock Neighborhood Center, 1223 W. Sharon Lane; Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road; Jerry Handlon Administration Building, 235 E. Beech Drive; Meineke Recreation Center, 220 E. Weathersfield Way; Schaumburg Golf Club, 401 N. Golden Jubilee raffle: Queen of the Rosary Parish is hosting a fundraising raffle to support the parish and school. Tickets may be purchased through Nov. 29, at a cost of $100 per ticket. Pumpkin patch: The Prince of Peace United Methodist Church in Elk Grove Village will be hosting a Pumpkin Patch beginning Oct. 3 and continuing through Halloween. Colorful gourds will also be available for purchase to brighten your table and help bring warm feelings of autumn to your home.
