Sept. 21

Wii Hab: 10:30-11:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21 or 28, Mundelein Park District Regent Center, 1200 Regent Drive, Mundelein. Adults 50 and over can learn about Nintendo's popular Wii game system and use it to bowl, play tennis or try the Wii Fit program. Senior Lunch and Activity program: 10:30 a.m. Bingo; noon lunch Monday, Sept. 21, Barrington Park District, 235 Lions Drive, Barrington. Dr. Hong Luo of Barrington from AcuCare presents a program on acupuncture and pain management. $5; admission for bingo without lunch is $1. bacoa.org.

Arthritis exercise program: 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, and Friday, Sept. 25, Lake Barrington Shores Recreation Center. Vascular Health Screening: 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, then by appointment Thursday, Nov. 19, Lake Forest Hospital Specialty Care Center, 660 N. Westmoreland Road, Lake Forest. For adults over 60, or those over 50 with vascular risk factors. The two-night event focuses on the education and prevention of circulatory system problems. The first night features an educational dinner seminar. Attendees return the second night at an assigned time for their screening and a meeting with a vascular physician. $40 for the two-night event. Free, ongoing support group for caregivers that regularly care for or about a person who is 60 or older, or for those 60 or older who are raising a grandchild.
