Bartlett claims Elgin Invite title

Anthony Burdi and Cody Linkenheld each shot 1-over par 72 medalist rounds Monday to lead Bartlett to the team championship of the Elgin Invite boys golf tournament at Bartlett Hills.

The Hawks shot a 302, 10 strokes better than second place Geneva. South Elgin and St. Charles North tied for third at 314 and Larkin was fifth with a 316.

Geneva's Andrew Cisco had the second best round of the day with a 73, while Neuqua Valley's John Walsh and South Elgin's Xavier Owens each shot 74.

Ryan Smith led Larkin with a 76.
