Mundelein cards school record to win Antioch invite

Antioch invitational: At Spring Valley, Mundelein won the Roger Alm Invitational by shooting a school-record 295 Saturday.

Libertyville (317), Warren (322), Grayslake North (328) and Lakes (333) rounded out the top five in the 10-team meet.

Mundelein's Sean Forsythe was medalist with a 70, three shots better than teammate Grant Heelan, who finished second. Mundelein also counted Eric Nelson's 74 (fifth) and Bryan Weiner's 78 (ninth).

The top 15 also included Libertyville's Dylan Hoover (74, fourth), Grayslake North's Matt Bergstrom (76, sixth), Lakes' David Riedel (78, seventh), Warren's Adam Guthrie (78, eighth) and Brian Sears (80, 10th), Grayslake North's Sean Humphrey (80, 11th), Libertyville's Matt Dohse (81, 14th) and Lakes' Jake Bathery (81, 15th).
