Stevenson wins again at GBS

Stevenson 5, Grayslake C. 0: At Glenbrook South, the Patriots won for the second straight day in Glenview.

Stevenson got goals from Gordy Gurson, Arturo Hernandez, Eric Smith, Shawn Singh and Nik Antonijevic. Ryan Uslander had 3 assists, while Singh and Greg Golovan had assists as well.

The Patriots (5-0 and 2-0 in the tournament) will take on host Glenbrook South today at 4:15 p.m. If Stevenson wins or ties, it would advance to the final on Saturday.

St. Viator 3, Mundelein 1: At Glenbrook South, the Mustangs (1-2, 0-2) suffered a tough loss to the Lions (2-2, 2-0), who Lions scored 3 goals in the first 12 minutes.

Mundelein goalkeeper Javier Ramirez made 12 saves to keep the Mustangs in the contest. The Mustangs' Bryant Portillo got a goal back 27 seconds into the second half off a Edar Alcantar assist.

Mundelein takes on Mather at 5:45 p.m. today back at Glenbrook South.
